I am SO bored I could leap naked out of my third story window!



My parents have passwords on our

TV

and

INTERNET (dial-up by the way)

AND I'M NOT ALLOWED TO OWN A GAME CONSOL OR PUT GAMES ON OUR CRAPPY COMPUTER

AND I CAN'T GO ANYWHERE.

sigh

if this weren't the last day of my confinement, I'd so skip out on their asses.
But I won't risk that particular fight for just a few hours out of the house.

The only reason I can even do this much is because I stole back my brother's laptop (he's in Japan, by the way) after they confiscated it from my little sister. They were paranoid about her having internet access. No one knows why. It's not like a fourteen-year-old girl is gonna be looking at porn. Now I'm mooching wireless off of someone who probably lives a quarter mile away, judging from the connection's erratic quality. We used to be able to get a really fast connection with our next door neighbors, but one of my older brothers decided to use up all their bandwidth downloading porn while he was home from college for the summer. Horny bastard . Now they've locked up their network.

Oh, well. I almost forgive him.

Good news:
I reconfigured a shirt in 30 minutes flat, with hand-sewn on buttons and button holes.
I still need to hem and add some cord so that my mom's not freaking out about how likely it is that it'll fall open...
Really there's no chance of inadvertant nudity, but, as usual in her increasingly old age, she's paranoid as hell.

I also completed four polished faces for characters I'm creating-ish. I don't know if they'll show up somewhere (east-enders comic) or if they'll just rot in my drawer, but it's fun to meet them. As soon as I can gain access to a scanner (and hopefully some lovely photoshop programs) I'll post them.

in the meantime...
oh well.

I'm really rather proud of them, actually. Every single person's facial structure is completely different and I managed to draw two personalities of the same character. fun. It'll be hell trying to translate front view to profile, though.
Any advice for this task? (general, of course. You can't really SEE the faces yet.)
